Khan Academy: 45% During the hour I spent I had to decide which measurements seemed to make the most sense with certain objects. My favorite part was figuring out how much time had passed between one clock and another, then calculating the time that had passed. If you have not caught on yet, my favorite puzzles are those which have to do with clock time! :) Granted I did not gain anymore through the unit, but I did get through some of the problems which are ten times better than yesterday!

Writing: !This is not complete yet! I have wanred you ahead of time; The harsh rapid breathing and thunder striking hooves that came from the horse was the only sound along with the occasional calls of endearment from the sturdy man who I sat behind holding his shoulders for assistance as so I did not fall off. Heavy dark shadows loom above my head; encompassing the brilliant light that once shone down upon the field we now trek through. A strong petrichor chokes my sense of smell of the rain that would soon fall harshly onto the emerald green grass which gently slid by my boots that are buckled firmly to my legs; while the chilled air kissed my frostbitten face. It almost feels as if it was just us alone with the stretch of grass and the dark clouds overhead. Closing my eyes I give a gentle squeeze with my arms to the body who is encased with leather dark as the healthy soil the horses hooves pound against.
Reading: Reading Dracula seems to always be a heavy experience. The hefty amount of detail within each scene is described with words that sometimes trip me up as far as knowing their definition. I must have read six pages of a description from one scene! I admire the time and background given, but it sure makes my eyelids tired from such new vocabulary to myself along with trying to imagine the painted scene. I am on page 100; chapter 8
